Effect of Low-Level Laser Therapy on Bone and Peri-Implant Soft Tissue Healing and Optimizing Nanoceramics Composite Compositions for Enhanced Surface Roughness in Implant Applications
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله
In the clinical and chemistry application of dental implants, the process of osseointegration, as well as the healing of the periodontal soft tissues, are the key factors determining their success. These two processes are not only related to the stable integration of the implant into the surrounding bone tissue but also affect the health of the periodontal soft tissue, which is directly related to the long-term stability and functional recovery of the dental implant. Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has become recognized as an effective approach to enhance the healing of both bone tissue and the soft tissues surrounding implants. This article utilizes Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for surface morphology assessment, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) for crystallographic characterization, and X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) for compositional analysis of HA-wollastonite materials. These techniques collectively provide insights into structural integrity and material properties, which are crucial
for optimizing dental implant applications. Studies have shown that LLLT can promote bone healing and soft tissue repair through various mechanisms, including the promotion of vascularization and osteogenesis, as well as effects on mesenchymal stem cell differentiation. The researchers searched electronic databases to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of the effects of LLLT on dental implant bone and periodontal soft tissue healing. Risk of bias was assessed using a specific risk of bias tool. Data were analyzed using statistical software programs. A total of 12 studies, all RCTs, were included, of which 5 were laboratory animal model studies and 7 were randomized clinical trials. 4 studies reported changes in BIC. The results indicate that varying the HA-wollastonite composition significantly influences surface roughness and material properties. Enhanced roughness correlates with improved mechanical stability and osseointegration potential, showing the importance of optimizing material ratios for effective dental implant applications. A power range of 50-100 mW and an energy density range of 4-30 J/cm² can yield optimal clinical outcomes.
