عنوان انگلیسی P-1: Measuring the Activity of AminTransferases and the Amount of HydroxyProlinand WBC in Rats with Liver Fibrosis underTreatment by G-CSF
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Objective: As reported by many other investigators G-CSF can replace and fix stem cells in the regeneration and restructuring of a damaged organ. Considering this property of G-CSF, we did the research which aims to determine if using G-CSF can decrease the damage in the liver tissue. Materials and Methods: Study was done on six groups of rats, six rats in each group. Liver damage was induced in the groups by injecting toxin intra peritoneally.GCSF was injected to some groups. To determine the performance of G-CSF in the liver regeneration, we measured the activity of the special liver enzymes, the amount of HydroxyProlin and counted WBC . Results: The serum ALT and AST activity level from CCl4 injection in rats reciving G-csf at day 7 expressed as means ± S.E: (691.74 ± 54, 1211.97 ± 70 U/L) in G-CSF group and (837 ± 29, 522.587 ± 12 U/L) in control group and the serum hydroxyprolin was (74 ± 21) in G-csf group and (87 ± 3625) incontrol group. (WBC) count was expressed as means±SE cells/μl. in G-CSF group expressed (21.18 ± 2.69) and (11.17 ± 3.4) cells/μl. Conclusion: This study dose support the conclusion that G-CSF exert a protective effect against toxic induced non lethal acute liver injury. Therefore, in future studies, it will be important to examine the effect of G-csf in Liver injury and regeneration.
