چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: The problem of infertility as a public health problem of global dimensions of physical, mental and social. Since the causes of anxiety and depression in infertile women lack adequate knowledge about the causes of infertility and its treatment, so we decided to investigate the effect of training on reducing anxiety in infertile women. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted as a quasi-experimental study and 74 infertile women were available for sampling. The samples were randomly divided into 2 groups: 37 patients were divided questionnaire. Anxiety was assessed using self-administered Spielberger's state-trait anxiety questionnaire. Using a paired t test, independent of the effect of face to face training on anxiety in infertile women were studied. Results: The mean scores of anxiety in the experimental group before and after training was reduced, which was statistically significant (p value=000/0). Means of general anxiety in the group before training, 106. 08 and two weeks after completion of the training program 87/81 was significantly decreased (p value=000/0) of the control group, the mean anxiety scores of the control group did not change before and after training. Conclusion: Lack of awareness of the causes and treatment of infertility, infertility is involved in the development of depression and anxiety in individuals. Education infertile patients with emphasis on the cognitive, affective and behavioral attitudes towards infertility is suggested.
