چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Background: Obesity and infertility have been linked together by several studies. Obesity results in an increased production of estrogen; this hormonal imbalance in turn interferes with ovulation, which of course, is the basis of successful conception. Auricular acupuncture is one of the acupuncture therapies used to prevent and treat obesity. Materials and Methods: In this research we used auricular acupuncture for treatment. In this study, women divided into 2 groups as following; Case Group: (n=42) subjects with low-calorie diet and Auricular acupuncture. Control group: (n=42) subjects with low-calorie diet and shame Auricular acupuncture. Body weight, BMI, body fat mass, trunk fat mass measured for three times in all subjects, first; at the beginning of study, second; one day after treatment and third; 45 days after treatment.
