عنوان فارسی بررسی تطبیقیِ دو رویکرد تحلیلی و اروپایی در فلسفۀ ادبیات، با دفاعیه‌ای از فلسفۀ تحلیلیِ ادبیات
چکیده فارسی مقاله هرچند از دیرباز اندیشه‌های فلسفی دربارۀ سرشت و کارکرد ادبیات رواج داشته‌اند، فلسفۀ ادبیات، در حکم حوزۀ فکری یا رشته‌ای مستقل، به‌تازگی ظهور پیدا کرده است. دو نوع نگرشی که از حدود یک سده پیش در فلسفۀ غرب از هم متمایز شده‌اند، یعنی فلسفۀ تحلیلی در برابر فلسفۀ اروپایی، در فلسفۀ ادبیات هم وجود دارند. این جستار با روش تطبیقی ابتدا به بررسی تفاوت‌های فلسفۀ تحلیلی و اروپایی و، سپس، فلسفۀ تحلیلیِ ادبیات و فلسفۀ اروپاییِ ادبیات می‌پردازد. تأکید این مقاله بر فلسفۀ تحلیلیِ ادبیات است، زیرا به‌نظر می‌رسد این نوع فلسفه با روش منطقی و واقع‌نگرانه‌اش به ما در درک واقعیِ سرشت و کارکرد ادبیات بیشتر کمک می‌کند. مدعای این جستار آن است که فلسفۀ اروپاییِ ادبیات خود جلوۀ دیگری از ادبیات است و فقط بر ابهام مفهوم ادبیات می‌افزاید. فیلسوفان اروپاییِ ادبیات نیز، مانند آفرینندگان آثار ادبی، برای معنابخشیدن به زندگی و ادبیات متوسل به استعاره-هایی متافیزیکی یا کلام-خِردمحور شده و با خیال‌پردازی‌های فلسفه‌گون سعی در معناکردن ادبیات داشته‌اند. با وجود این، حاصل کار آنان تا حدود زیادی همان کارکردها و تأثیرهای ادبیات را دارد. البته، این به‌هیچ‌وجه به معنای نفی ارزش رویکرد اروپایی نیست. به‌زعم نگارنده، آن‌چه در وضع کنونی در ایران به آن بیشتر نیاز داریم نه فلسفۀ اروپاییِ ادبیات بلکه فلسفۀ تحلیلیِ ادبیات است، زیرا این رویکرد با تمرکز بر روش تحلیل و واکاوی منطقیِ مفهوم «ادبیات» و مفهوم‌های مرتبط با آن زمینه را برای شناخت دقیق‌تر این حوزه فراهم می‌کند، و آن‌گاه است که می‌توان با رویکرد اروپایی به بررسی جنبه‌های دیگر ادبیات پرداخت.

عنوان انگلیسی A Comparative Study of Analytic and Continental Philosophy of Literature, With an Apology for Analytic Philosophy of Literature
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Although since classical times philosophical reflections on the nature and functions of literature have not been uncommon, the "philosophy of literature," as a separate discipline or field, is a new phenomenon. The two approaches distinguished in Western philosophy since about a century ago, i.e., analytic vs. Continental philosophy, can be observed in philosophy of literature as well. Adopting a comparative method, this essay first examines the differences between analytic and Continental philosophy and, then, those between analytic and Continental philosophy of literature. The focus of this essay is on the analytic philosophy of literature since it seems this kind of philosophy, with its logical and realist method of conceptual analysis, can help us better in understanding the nature and functions of literature. The basic claim of this essay, then, is that Continental philosophy of literature is itself another manifestation of literature and only increases the ambiguity and mystification of the concept of literature. In order to give meaning to life and consequently to literature, Continental philosophers, like literary creators, have recourse to "metaphysical or logocentric metaphors" and "philosophical fictions." However, the products of these attempts almost have the same functions and effects as those of literature. Of course, this is not to deny the value of the Continental approach; rather, as discussed at the end of the essay, in my view, what we need more in the current critical situation in Iran is analytic philosophy of literature rather than Continental philosophy of literature, because by concentrating on the analysis of the concept of literature and other related concepts the analytic approach prepares the ground for acquiring a more precise understanding of this field, and it is only then that we can adopt the Continental method for exploring the other aspects of literature.
