چکیده فارسی مقاله زمینه: چالش‌های موجود و پیش روی بشر امروز، از قبیل مسائل اقتصادی، محیطی و اجتماعی، از چالش‌های مهم قرن جدید هستند. به‌منظور حل این مشکلات از سوی صاحب‌نظران، توسعه پایدار مطرح گردیده است. به منظور رسیدن به توسعه پایدار لزوم توجه علوم مختلف به این مقوله احساس می‌شود، تحقیق در عملیات نیز در راستای وظایف اخلاقی خود بایستی امروزه بیش از گذشته، با توجه به پیچیدگی‌های مسائل جامعه، نقش خود را در فرایند تصمیم‌گیری سیاست‌گذارن توسعه پایدار ایفا کند.   روش کار: در این مطالعه مروری ضمن پرداختن به مسائل مربوط به توسعه پایدار و پیچیدگی‌های جهان امروز به این امر توجه شده است که رویکردهای سنتی تحقیق در عملیات جوابگوی مسائل پیچیده و ساختار نیافته امروزی نیست و نقش دو رویکرد پیشرفته تحقیق در عملیات در کمک به توسعه پایدار معرفی گردیده است.   یافته‌ها: مطالعه حاضر با مروری بر ادبیات پیرامون اخلاقیات در تحقیق در عملیات و علم مدیریت، کمکی که با لحاظ اخلاقیات در این حوزه به توسعه پایدار می‌شود، مشخص گردیده است. همچنین دو رویکرد تصمیم‌گیری چند معیاره با لحاظ کردن ابعاد مختلفی همچون محیطی، اجتماعی و اقتصادی در مواجهه با مسائل توسعه پایدار و پویایی سیستم با قابلیت بررسی اثرات بلندمدت تصمیمات سیاست‌گذاران بر محیط و جامعه معرفی گردیده است.   نتیجه‌گیری: رویکرد‌های سنتی و تک‌بُعدی تحقیق در عملیات جوابگوی مسائل پیچیده اجتماعی و اخلاقی امروز بشر نیستند. می‌توان دو رویکرد پیشرفته تصمیم‌گیری‌های چند معیاره و پویایی سیستم را در زمینه حل مسائل مرتبط با توسعه پایدار استفاده کرد. جامعه تحقیق در عملیات و متخصصان آن مؤظف به توسعه و به کارگیری فنونی هستند که جوابگوی این مسائل انسانی و اجتماعی باشد

Results: This study With review of literature on ethics in Operations Research and Management Science, assistance with respect to ethics in the field to sustainable development has identified. Also, two approach multiple criteria decision making with respect to various aspects such as environmental, social and economic issues facing sustainable development    and system dynamics with capable of investigatig long-term effects of decisions policy makers on environmental and society has been introduced. Conclusion: Traditional and single-dimensional approaches operations research are not Responsive to complex social and ethical issues today human. can be to use of two advanced  approaches system dynamics and multiple criteria decision making in solving the problems of sustainable development. Operations Research Society and the professionals required to develop and use techniques that are responsive to these issues is human and social.
