عنوان فارسی بررسی دیدگاه نابیا آبوت در مقاله «وضعیت زن در صدر اسلام» با تکیه بر آیات و روایات
چکیده فارسی مقاله مواجهه قرآن کریم و پیامبر اکرم (ص) با حضور زنان در عرصه‌های مذهبی- اجتماعی و سیاسی از موضوعات مهم و مورد توجه خاورشناسان است که نابیا آبوت آن را در مقاله‌ای با عنوان «وضعیت زن در صدر اسلام» بررسی کرده است. چگونگی دیدگاه وی با توجه به اطلاعات گسترده وی از قرآن و سنت پیامبر (ص) جای تأمل دارد. مقاله حاضر با بررسی آن به روش توصیفی- تحلیلی و تکیه بر قرآن و سنت پیامبر (ص) خصوصاً از منابع اهل سنت سامان یافته و به این نتایج دست یافته که او علیرغم آگاهی‌های گسترده و قابل تحسین، در برخی موارد مثل جایگاه زن نسبت به مرد، به منابع مورد استناد خویش نسبت تبعیض داده و در بررسی مسایل امامت جماعت زنان و احراز پست‌های کلان سیاسی توسط زنان، به دلیل عدم بررسی همه‌جانبه در منابع، به‌درستی از پس استنباط جامع و صحیح از آن‌ها برنیامده است و ناگزیر قائل به تبعیض و تغییر نگرش پیامبر (ص) نسبت به زنان به دلیل مشکلات خانوادگی شده است.

چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The encounter of the Qur’an and the Prophet (a.s) with women’s presence in social-religious and political arenas is one of the important subjects considered by the orientalists. In her article, “Women and the State in Early Islam”, Nabia Abbott has investigated this subject. Her extensive knowledge about the Qur’an and the Prophetic tradition requires us to pay a special attention to her viewpoint. Applying an descriptive-analytical method, the present article, with regard to the Quran and the Prophetic tradition, specially that in accord with Sunni sources, investigates Nabia Abbott’s perspective and reaches the conclusion that Abbott, despite her extensive and admirable knowledge, has, in certain cases such as the status of woman in comparison to man, discriminated between some of her recited sources, and due to her incomprehensive investigation in sources, has not been able to make a comprehensive and correct conclusion about matters such as women’s prayer leadership and their achievement of political power. Thus she has indispensably concluded the Prophet’s discrimination and change of attitude toward women due to the family inconveniences.
