عنوان فارسی بررسی رابطه بین استئوپروز و خشکی دهان در زنان یائسه
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: با توجه به اهمیت روزافزون بزاق در غربالگری بیماری‏های گوناگون و لزوم یافتن راه‏های کم خطرتر و کم هزینه تر جهت تشخیص بیماری‏ها، مطالعه حاضر جهت تعیین وجود ارتباط بین خشکی دهان و استئوپروز طراحی شده است. مواد و روش‏ها:تعداد 26 زن یائسه دارای استوپروز و 27 زن یائسه فاقد استئوپروز وارد این مطالعه مقطعی شدند. پرسشنامه استاندارد مربوط به خشکی دهان برای تمام بیماران تکمیل شد و سپس بزاق غیرتحریکی نمونه‏ها در شرایط و مکان یکسان، با روش Spitting جمع‏آوری گردید. داده‏ها با استفاده از تست‏های t-student و Chi square مورد آنالیز قرار گرفت. یافته ‏ها: متوسط حجم بزاق غیرتحریکی در بیماران دارای استئوپروز به طور معنی‎‏داری کمتر از بیماران فاقد استئوپروز بود (01/0P= و 5/2t=). احساس خشکی دهان در این گروه بیشتر بود (001/0P

عنوان انگلیسی Assessment the Relationship between Osteoporosis and Oral Dryness in Postmenopausal Women
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Given the increasing importance of saliva screening for various diseases and the seek for less risky and less costly ways to diagnose diseases; this study was designed to determine the relationship between oral dryness and osteoporosis. Materials & Methods: Twenty six postmenopausal women without osteoporosis and 27 postmenopausal women with osteoporosis were enrolled in this cross sectional study. The standard questionnaire of xerostomia was filled for all patients. Unstimulated saliva samples were collected by spitting method in the same place and same time. Data were analyzed by SPSS software version 18. Independed t test, chi square. Results: The mean volume of saliva in patients with osteoporosis was significantly lower than patients without the osteoporosis (P=0.01), while dry mouth feeling was higher in this group (P< 0.01). Conclusion: it seems that there is a positive relationship between osteoporosis and oral dryness feeling in postmenopausal women.
