عنوان فارسی بررسی روائی روش Willems بر اساس توالی تکامل دندان‏های مولر و پرمولر در افراد ۳ تا ۱۸ سال شهر اصفهان
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: دقت روش‏های Willems و Demirjian می‏تواند تحت تأثیر الگوهای متفاوت کلسیفیکاسیون دندان‏های مولر و پرمولر قرار گیرد. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین دقت روش Willems در جامعه مورد مطالعه و بررسی تاثیر الگوهای متفاوت کلسیفیکاسیون دندان‏های مولر و پرمولر بر اساس این روش بود. مواد و روش‏ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی-مقطعی، 152 رادیوگرافی پانورامیک 47 پسر و 105 دختر 3 تا 18 ساله استفاده شد. سن دندانی نمونه‏ها به روش Willems و Demirjian تعیین شد. بر اساس تکامل دندان‏های پرمولر اول و دوم و مولر دوم گروه بندی زیر انجام شد: گروه اول: مرحله تکاملی پرمولر اول و دوم همزمان، گروه دوم:‌ مرحله تکاملی پرمولر اول جلوتر از پرمولر دوم، گروه سوم: مرحله تکاملی پرمولر دوم با مولر دوم همزمان است و گروه چهارم: مرحله تکاملی پرمولر دوم جلوتر از مولر دوم. داده‏ها وارد نرم افزار SPSS با ویرایش 17 شد و توسط آزمون tزوج بررسی شد (05/0α=) یافته‏ها: روش Demirjian باعث تخمین بیش از حد سن (5/0 سال) و روش Willems باعث تخمین کمتر سن (2/0 سال) شد، که نشان‏دهنده دقت بیشتر روش Willems بود. روش Willems در کل جامعه در گروه یک، در دختران در گروه یک و در پسران در گروه دوم، بیشترین دقت را نشان داد. روش Demirjian در کل جامعه و دختران در گروه دوم و در پسران در گروه سوم بیشترین دقت را نشان داد. نتیجه گیری: این تحقیق نشان داد که دقت روش Willems بیش‏تر از روش Demirjian است و طرح‏های متفاوت از تکامل دندانی بر دقت این روش‏ها تاثیر می‏گذارد.

عنوان انگلیسی Validity of Willems Method Based on Molar and Premolar Development in 3-18 year old Individuals in the City of Isfahan
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: The accuracy of Willems and Demirjian's methods can be affected by different patterns of calcifications of molars and premolars. Materials & Methods: In this descriptive-cross sectional study, 152 panoramic radiographs of 47 boys and 105 girls aged 3 to 18 were used. The dental age of samples was determined by Willems and Demirjian's methods. Based on the developmental of first and second premolars and second molar the following ranking was made: 1. The development stage of the first premolar and the second premolar is the same. 2. The development stage of the first premolar is earlier than the second premolar. 3. The development stage of the second premolar and the second molar is the same. 4. The development stage of the second premolar is earlier than the second molar. Data were entered into SPSS 17 software and analysed by paired t-test. Results: Demirjianʼs method overestimated the age of the teeth (0.5 years) and Willmsʼ method under estimated the age of the teeth (0.2 years) that shows the higher accuracy of the Wilelmsʼ method. The Willems method in the first group of the whole population,in the girls of the first group and in the boys of the second group showed the highest accuracy. Demirjian's method in the whole population and in the girls of the second group and in the boys of the third group showed the highest accuracy. Discussion: This research showed that the accuracy of Willemʼs method is higher than Demirjianʼs, and different patterns of tooth development affect the accuracy of these methods and will help the forensic dentist to be more ensured.
