عنوان فارسی بررسی آلودگی باکتریایی یونیت‏های بخش‏های ترمیمی و پریوی دانشکده دندانپزشکی شهید بهشتی
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: آلودگی باکتریال سطوح کلینیکی می‏تواند یکی از علل عفونت‏های متقاطع باشد. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی میزان و نوع آلودگی باکتریایی در یونیت‏های بخش ترمیمی و پریوی دانشکده دندانپزشکی شهید بهشتی قبل و بعد از کار بر روی بیماران در سال تحصیلی 90-91 بود. مواد و روش‏ها: نمونه‏گیری به روش تصادفی ساده بر روی 30 یونیت فعال بخش‏های ترمیمی و پریو صورت گرفت. از سه محل پشتی صندلی، کلید روشن خاموش چراغ و دستگیره سینی، قبل و بعد از کار با یک بیمار با استفاده از سواپ استریل مرطوب نمونه‏گیری به عمل آمد. کلونی‏‏های تشکیل شده شمارش و از تست‏های شیمیایی برای شناسایی باکتری‏های جداشده استفاده شد. جهت آنالیز آماری از تست‏های من ویتنی، کای اسکوئر و کروسکال والیس استفاده شد و سطح معنی‏داری 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‏ها: نمونه‏گیری بعد از اتمام کار درمانی نشان داد که 57 مورد از 90 نمونه‏گیری، آلوده بودند و بیشترین باکتری از نوع استافیلوکوک اورئوس بود. آلودگی تابوره بیشتر از دو ناحیه دیگر بود (025/0P=) ومیزان آلودگی در بخش ترمیمی بیشتر از پریو گزارش شد (036/0P=). نتیجه گیری: آلودگی میکروبی سطوح کار بعد از درمان یک بیمار، بطور قابل ملاحظه‏ای افزایش می‏یابد. بنابراین ضدعفونی کردن سطوح یونیت و صندلی در فواصل بیماران ضروری به نظر می‏رسد.

عنوان انگلیسی Evaluation of the Bacterial Contamination of Dental Units in Restorative and Peridontics Departments of Dental School of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Surface bacterial contamination has been shown to be a potential source of cross infection. Our objective therefore was to determine the level and type of bacterial contamination present on dental units in two departments of dental school before and after treatment in 2011 and 2012. Materials & Methods: The study was carried out at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (dental school). A random survey of 30 dental units fromrestorative andperiodontics departments were included in this study. The surface of three sites of the units (seat, light on/off switch and tray handle) was sampledusing moist sterile swabs. The colony forming units were counted and isolated bacteria were characterized by morphological and biochemical analyses. Comparisons of data sets were performed using the Wilcoxon,Mann-Whitney test and the Chi-square tests; P< 0.05 was considered as statistically significant. Results: After finishing the treatment, samling results showed that 57 from 90 were positive for bacterial isolates. Staphylococcus areus was more prevalent on the surfaces. Also, bacterial contamination of the seat was greater than the other parts (P=0.025). The isolates were significantly (P=0.036) more prevalent on units from restorative department than on those from periodontics department. Conclusion: Microbial contamination of dental units is considerably increased after treatment of each patient. So, surfaces disinfection is essential between patients treatment.
