عنوان فارسی فراوانی نقص دید رنگ در دانشجویان دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد و بررسی عوامل مرتبط با آن
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: در دندانپزشکی زیبائی، توانائی تطابق رنگ یکی از مسائل تاثیرگذار در درمان می باشد. برای نیل به این هدف تطابق رنگ ترمیم با دندان‏های طبیعی ضروری است. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین فراوانی نقص دید رنگ در دانشجویان دندانپزشکی مشهد و بررسی عوامل مرتبط با آن بود. مواد و روش‏ها: در این پژوهش توصیفی تحلیلی، 356 دانشجوی دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. اطلاعات دموگرافیک شامل سن، جنسیت، نقص دید رنگ در بستگان نزدیک، استفاده از عینک و لنز، عیوب انکساری (نزدیک بینی، دور بینی و آستیگماتیسم) در پرسشنامه طراحی شده ثبت شد. جهت تعیین ابتلا به نقص دید رنگ از تست تشخیصی ایشی‏هارا استفاده گردید. تجزیه و تحلیل آماری با استفاده از آزمون‏های آماری Chi-Square و Logistic Regression در سطح معنی‏داری 05/0 انجام شد. یافته‏ها: اختلال نقص دید رنگ در 6 درصد (12 نفر) دانشجویان مذکر کشف شد. در حالی که هیچ یک از افراد مونث مبتلا نبودند. تمامی افراد مبتلا کوررنگ سبز-قرمز و دوتان قوی بودند. ارتباط آماری معنی‏داری بین ابتلا به نقص دید رنگ و سابقه خانوادگی آن وجود داشت (03/0P=) به طوری که 25 درصد (3 نفر) مبتلایان، سابقه خانوادگی نقص دید رنگ داشتند. نتیجه گیری: با توجه به نتایج مطالعه حاضر، اهمیت تطابق رنگ در درمان‏های دندانپزشکی و عدم آگاهی اکثر مبتلایان از وجود این نقص، انجام تست‏های دید رنگ ضروری به نظر می‏رسد.

عنوان انگلیسی Frequency of Color Vision Defect in Students of Mashhad Dental School and Evaluation of Related Factors
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: In esthetic dentistry, colormatching ability is one of the influencing factors in treatment. To achieve this goal, matching the color of restoration with natural teeth is essential. The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of color vision defectin students of Mashhad Dental School and evaluation of related factors. Materials & Methods: In this descriptive analytical study, 356 students of Mashhad Dental School were evaluated. Demographic data including age, gender, color vision defect in relatives, use of glasses and contact lenses, refractive errors (myopia, hypermetropia and astigmatism) were documented in the designed questionnaire. To determinethe impaired color vision, Ishiharadiagnostic test was used. Statistical analysis of SPSS version 19 was performed usingChi-Square and Logistic Regression tests at the significance level of 0.05%. Results: Color vision defect was foundin6% (12 persons) of male students while none of the females were affected. Allaffected personswere red-green color blind and strong deutan. There wasa significant relationshipbetween color vision deficiency and history of color vision defect in relatives (P= 0.03), so that 25% (3 persons) of affected persons had a positive family history of color vision defect. Conclusion: Considering the frequency of color vision defect in the present study as well as the importance of color matching in dental treatments and because most affected persons are unaware of this defect, color vision tests seem necessary.
