عنوان فارسی واحد رساله در دوره دندانپزشکی چه نقشی دارد؟ بررسی دیدگاه دانشجویان، فارغ التحصیلان و اساتید دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد در سال ۱۳۸۸
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه: در نظام آموزش کشور، جایگاه پایان‏نامه رفع مشکلات پژوهشی است و ارائه پایان‏نامه به عنوان بخشی از محور تحقیقات کشور قرار می‏گیرد. با چنین نگرشی به پایان‏نامه تحصیلی، لازم است ارزشیابی دقیقی از اهداف، مراحل اجرایی، روند و بازده این واحد درسی توسط اساتید، فارغ‏التحصیلان و دانشجویان به عمل آید تا امکان اصلاح و بازنگری برای ارتقای کیفیت آن فراهم شود. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین دیدگاه اساتید، فارغ‏التحصیلان و دانشجویان دندانپزشکی مشهد در مورد واحد پایان نامه بود. مواد و روش‏ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی– مقطعی، 48 نفر از اساتید راهنما، 40 نفر از دانشجویان سال ششم و 50 نفر از فارغ‏التحصیلان سال 87 دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد در سال تحصیلی 88-87 مورد پرسش قرار گرفتند. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات، سه پرسش‏نامه بود که روایی و پایایی آن مورد تایید قرار گرفت. یافته‏های پژوهشی به صورت توزیع فراوانی نسبی و میانگین، توصیف و سوالات مشترک با آزمون کروسکال والیس در سطح معنی‏داری 5% مقایسه گردید. یافته‏ها: میزان تاثیر پایان نامه در فعالیت‏های منجر به تولید و علوم پایه و افزایش مهارت‏ها و دانش حرفه ای متوسط ارزیابی شد و تاثیر آن در آموزش روش‏های تحقیق زیاد برآورد شد. دانشجویان و فارغ‏التحصیلان و اساتید در گذراندن یک پروژه تحقیقی مشترک در سال‏های آغازین تحصیل و گذراندن واحد آموزشی برای آشنایی با اهداف پایان نامه با یکدیگر موافق بودند. اساتید تاثیر نتایج پایان‏نامه در جامعه را بیشتر از فارغ‏التحصیلان تخمین زدند (03/0P=)، به علاوه اساتید با اختیاری کردن پایان نامه در مقایسه با دانشجویان و فارغ التحصیلان توافق کمتری داشتند (01/0P=). نتیجه گیری: از آنجائی که در مورد پایان نامه‏‏های پژوهشی و تحقیقاتی هزینه و وقت بسیاری صرف می‏شود بهتر است از نتایج و پیشنهادات ارائه شده در این زمینه با در نظر گرفتن محدودیت‏های این مطالعه، استفاده بهینه گردد. همچنین به نظر می‏رسد بیشترین تاثیر در بهبود این روند با بازبینی قوانین، ایجاد تشکیلات سازمانی حمایت‏کننده به صورت فعال و جدی و مدیریت هدفمند موضوعات و فعالیت‏‏ها در این واحد، ایجاد خواهد شد.

عنوان انگلیسی What Is The Role of Thesis In Dentistry? Evaluation of the View Point of Senior and Graduated Students and Supervisor Teachers of Mashhad Dental Faculty in 2010
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: In the education system in the country, thesis works as a way to solve research problems and thesis presentation is based as part of the research. To improve the quality of dissertations, it is essential to have an accurate evaluation of the objectives, practical process, process and efficiency of the course by supervisors, graduates and students. The purpose of this study was evaluation of the view point of senior and graduated students and supervisor teachers of Mashhad dental school about thesis. Materials & Methods: Forty eight supervisors, 40 students and 50 graduates from Mashhad dental school participated in this cross sectional descriptive study in the year 2010. Three questionnaires, which proved to be valid and reliable, were used for data collection. Results were analyzed according to the frequency distribution of variable and average of description. Common questions were compared by Kruskal-Wallis test at a significance level of 95%. Results: The data indicated that the effect of thesis presentation on the activities leading to production and basic science and increase in professional knowledge and skills were average while it was very effective in teaching research methods. Students, graduates and supervisors together agreed on the completion of a joint research project in the early years of school and covering an education subject about thesis goals. Supervisors estimated the effect of thesis result in community to be more than that of the graduates (P=0.03). In addition, supervisors had less agreement on thesis as a voluntary course compared to students and graduates (P=0.01). Conclusion: Based on findings of this study, because of the great amount of budget and time spent on thesis, it is better to optimize the presented results and recommendations in this regard. It also seems that the greatest impact on improving the process would be created through revising the rules, creating supportive organizations actively and purposeful management of the issues and activities associated.
