عنوان فارسی ارزیابی لثه دندان‏های مولر شیری ترمیم شده با روکش Stainless steel یک مطالعه گذشته نگر
چکیده فارسی مقاله مقدمه:روکش‏های Stainless steel بصورت گسترده ای جهت ترمیم دندان‏های مولر شیری به شدت تخریب شده استفاده می‏شوند. از آنجایی که این روکش‏ها تطابق ایده آل با نسج دندان در ناحیه لبه روکش ندارند می توانند منجر به تغییراتی در بافت لثه اطراف دندان شوند. این مطالعه کلینیکی به منظور ارزیابی اثر روکش‏های Stainless steel مولر شیری بر سلامت لثه انجام شد. مواد و روش‏ها: در این مـطالعه گذشته نگر، 117 روکـش در 84 کودک 4 تا 11 ساله مراجعه کننده به بخش دندانپزشکی کودکان دانشـکده دندانپزشکی زاهدان ارزیابی شد. نمونه گیری به روش آسان و در دسترس انجام گرفت. فاکتورهای کلینیکی شامل اندکس لثه ای، نوع دندان، مولرهای سمت راست یا چپ، مولرهای بالا یا پائین، زمان سپری شده از هنگام سمان کردن روکش، تطابق لبه روکش، وجود سمان اضافی اطراف لبه روکش و سطح بهداشت دهان بود. نتایج در نرم افزار آماری SPSS با ویرایش 15 با استفاده از آزمون‏های کروسکال–والیس و من-ویتنی تحلیل شد (05/0>P). یافته‏ها: در مطالعه ما تنها در 1/11 درصد از روکش‏های مورد بررسی، لثه از نظر کلینیکی سالم و ارتباط معنی داری بین مولرهای شیری بالا و پائین، تطابق لبه روکش و سطح بهداشت دهان با اندکس لثه ای وجود داشت (05/0>P)، در حالی که نوع دندان، سمت چپ یا راست، زمان سپری شده از هنگام سمان کردن با روکش، وجود سمان اضافی اطراف لبه روکش و جنس تاثیری بر اندکس لثه ای نداشت (05/0

عنوان انگلیسی Gingival Evaluation of Primary Molar Teeth Restored with Stainless Steel Crowns in Pediatric Department of Zahedan-Iran Dental School – A Retrospective Study
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله Introduction: Stainless steel crowns (SSCs) are widely used in restoring severely damaged primary molar teeth.Since these crowns do not adapt ideally to tooth substance, they may lead to some changes in surrounding gingiva. This clinical study was performed to evaluate the effect of stainless steel crowns placed on primary molars on gingival structures. Materials & Methods: In this retrospective study, 117 crowns in eighty four 4-11 year old children attended to pediatric department of Zahedan dental school were evaluated. Convenience sampling method was done. Someclinical factors such as gingival index, tooth type, state of being either right or left molar, or upper or lower molar, time elapsed after cementation, crown marginal adaptation, excessive cementation around the margin of crown and the oral hygiene level were examined. Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests were used for data analysis through SPSS 15 software (P< 0.05). Results: In our study only 11.1% of the evaluated crowns demonstrated clinically healthy gingiva, and there was a significant correlation between upper and lower molar, crown marginal adaptation and oral hygiene level with gingival index (P< 0.05), while gingival index was not significantly affected by tooth type, tooth side, time elapsed after cementation and presence of excessive cement around the margin of crown and sex (P>0.05). Conclusion: Stainless steel crownshad no harmful effect on the gingiva provided performing standard preparation procedures especially in upper molars and stablishing proper marginal adaptation and good oral hygiene level.
