عنوان فارسی سزارین در مادیان با برش مارسناک تحت بیهوشی موضعی
چکیده فارسی مقاله یک مادیان توصیف نشده با سخت‌زایی ارجاع شد. مادیان زمین‌ گیر بوده و معاینات فیزیکی تایید نمود که حیوان در شوک می‌باشد. تقلایی وجود نداشته و اندام‌های قدامی جنین خارج از ولوا قابل مشاهده بودند. جین مرده بود و رفلکس پدال وجود نداشت. بررسی ولوا ظهور قدامی با وضعیت پشتی-عجزی و انحراف جانبی سفت سر (کجی سر) را تایید نمود. قبل از عمل، 5 میلی‌لیتر توکسوئید کزاز به صورت تزریق داخل عضلانی عمیق و 5 میلی‌لیتر دگزامتازون در 15 لیتر نرمال سالین دکستروز 5% (DNS) به صورت انفوزیون داخل وریدی (i/v) به مادیان داده شد. از آنجایی که فضای لگنی کافی نبوده و حالت نادرست قابل تصحیح نبود، تصحیح دستی یا فتوتومی نمی‌توانست انجام شود و از این‌رو جراحی سزارین در دستور کار قرار گرفت. شرایط حیوان بیانگر لزوم استفاده از انفیلتراسیون بیهوشی موضعی به جای بیهوشی عمومی بود. مراقبت بعد از عمل شامل مایعات داخل وریدی، آنتی بیوتیک‌ها، ضد التهاب/ضد درد و زخم‌بندی ضد عفونی روزانه بودند. صاحب حیوان بهبودی بی دردسری را گزارش نمود. نویسندگان این مورد را به عنوان یک سزارین اورژانسی نادر در اسب سانان نتیجه‌گیری کردند که جراحی حیوان در حالت خوابیده به پهلو با به کارگیری یک برش مارسناک تحت بیهوشی موضعی انجام گرفت.

عنوان انگلیسی Caesarean in mare by Marcenac incision under local anaesthesia
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله A nulliparous non-descript mare was presented with a complaint of dystocia. The mare was recumbent and physical examination revealed that the animal was in shock. There was no straining and foetal forelimbs were visible outside the vulva. The foetus was dead as there was no pedal reflex. Vaginal examination revealed anterior presentation with dorso-sacral position and rigid lateral head deviation. Pre-operatively, the mare was given 5 ml Tetanus toxoid and 3 g Ceftriaxone as intramuscular injection, and 5 ml Dexamethasone in 15 L of 5% Dextrose Normal Saline (DNS) as intravenous (i/v) infusion. As pelvic space was inadequate and the mal posture was not correctable, manual correction or foetotomy could not be attempted and therefore caesarean section was planned. Condition of the animal warranted the use of local anaesthetic infiltration instead of general anesthesia. Post-operative care included intravenous fluids, anti-inflammatory/analgesics and daily antiseptic dressing. The owner reported uneventful recovery. The authors would like to conclude the case as a rare emergency caesarean in equine where the surgery was done with animal in lateral recumbency employing a Marcenac incision under local anaesthesia.
