عنوان فارسی اثر ترکیب لاتانوپروست و پیلوکارپین روی فشار داخلی چشم و قطر مردمک در خرگوش‌های سالم
چکیده فارسی مقاله هدف از انجام این مطالعه، بررسی اثر ترکیب دو داروی لاتانوپروست و پیلوکارپین بر روی فشار داخلی چشم و قطر مردمک در خرگوش‌های سالم بود. بدین منظور 18 قطعه خرگوش به 3 گروه 6 تایی تقسیم شدند. به چشم راست خرگوش‌های گروه 1، لاتانوپروست، در گروه 2، پیلوکارپین و در گروه 3، لاتانوپروست و پیلوکارپین چکانده شد. در چشم چپ همه خرگوش‌ها نرمال سیلین چکانده شد. داروها در ساعت 8 صبح به مدت 4 روز استفاده شدند. فشار داخلی چشم و قطر مردمک در چشم‌های راست و چپ به طور جداگانه در ساعات 8، 10، 12، 14 و 16 در 2 روز قبل از چکاندن داروها، در مدت 4 روز چکاندن داروها و تا 3روز بعد از قطع داروها اندازه‌گیری گردید. در همه زمان‌ها همچنین، وجود اسپاسم پلک و پرخونی ملتحمه مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که در گروه لاتانوپروست از 20 بار اندازه‌گیری فشار چشم در دوره درمان فشار داخلی چشم در 8 بار (40%) نسبت به چشم‌های کنترل به طور معنی‌داری کاهش یافته بود. این نتایج در گروه پیلوکارپین نیز 8 بار از 20 بار (40%) و در گروه ترکیب دو دارو 18 بار از 20 بار (90%) به دست آمد. همچنین میانگین روزانه فشار داخلی چشم در گروه لاتانوپروست 5/4 میلی‌متر جیوه (31%)، در گروه پیلوکارپین 2 میلی‌متر جیوه (4/14%) و در گروه ترکیب دو دارو 5 میلی‌متر جیوه (7/34%) نسبت به چشم‌های کنترل کاهش یافته بود. با این حال بین 3 گروه دارویی در طول زمان اختلافی مشاهده نگردید. پرخونی ملتحمه در هر 3 گروه مشاهده گردید. نتیجه‌گیری می‌شود که استفاده از ترکیب لاتانوپروست و پیلوکارپین نسبت به استفاده از هر کدام از داروها به تنهایی مزیتی ندارد. همچنین پرخونی ملتحمه مهمترین اثر جانبی این داروها می‌باشد.

عنوان انگلیسی Effects of latanoprost and pilocarpine combination on the intraocular pressure and pupil size of normal rabbits
چکیده انگلیسی مقاله The aim of this study was to determine the combination effect of latanoprost and pilocarpine on theintraocular pressure and pupil size in normal rabbits. In this study, 18 rabbits were randomized to threegroups of 6 animals each. The right eyes of rabbits in group 1 were treated topically with latanoprost, ingroup 2 with pilocarpine and in group 3 with latanoprost and pilocarpine. The left eyes received placebo.Drugs were instilled once a day at 8 am over 4 days. IOP and pupil diameter measurements were made at 8am, 10 am, 12 noon, 2 pm and 4 pm during the 4 days of treatment, the 2 days that preceded treatment, and 3 days following treatment. The occurrence of blepharospasm and conjunctival hyperemia were also evaluated at the same times that the measurements were made. The mean IOPs were significantly lower than the contralateral eyes in 8 of the 20 time intervals (40%) in both latanoprost and pilocarpine-treated and in 18 of 20 time intervals (90%) in latanoprost plus pilocarpine-treated eyes in the treatment period. The mean daily hypotensive effects of latanoprost, pilocarpine and their combination were 4.5 (31%), 2 (14.4%) and 5 mmHg (34.7%), respectively. Although the mean IOPs in group 3 have decreased more than other groups, the differences between the three groups are not significant. Conjunctival hyperemia was observed in the treated eyes of the three groups. It is concluded that topical instillation of the combination of latanoprost and pilocarpine was not as effective in IOP reduction than by drugs alone and that hyperemia is the most frequent side effect observed during the treatment period.
