چکیده فارسی مقاله This paper aims to develop an understanding of e-learning using different themes and e-learning constructs. Based on a review of literature this paper attempts to describe different definitions of e-learning based on different themes, and then discuss how learning takes place and e-learners are assessed in e-learning courses. These issues would inform e-learning stakeholders to personalize their own definition of e-learning and evaluate their programs, depending on their purpose of using e-learning as well as the context e-learning is going to be applied for
